Amore & Vita-A
History of Success
Amore & Vita
has a long history! Born in 1948 from the cycling-blooded Fanini
family; it has been the "Love and Life" message through
cycling the on the streets all around the world for the past 15 years.
During these years of professional cycling, we’ve discovered
more than 4000 athletes, many of which became very big champions
(the greatest examples are Mario Cipollini and Michele Bartoli, Andrea
Tafi and Rolf Sorensen). In this great period of existence our riders
have won 36 Italian national championship titles, 12 World championship
titles, 15 stages at the Giro d’Italia and more than 500 international
competitions across the world.
We have created many initiatives to honor the moral values of life, but
above all we are still leading in cycling’s big struggle against
doping. This initiative is the basis for a strong ethical vision in cycling
that will become a point of reference for all the people who love clean
and pure sport.
Our team, for the
racing season 2008, will composed as this year, purposely by young
talents coming from several different countries along with champions
who will teach and guide them to ethically successful careers as
pro cyclists. All this is done to show, most of all in these day,
the importance of sport for the union of people and to give the opportunity
to these guys - who are coming from countries where cycling is on
phase of development - to show their own possibilities.
At the present time, Amore & Vita – McDonald’s is one
of the best Continental teams in the world.
Our ideal partner
is the one who understands and appreciates the importance to contribute
to the message of "Love & Life" not just emphasize
sporting results.

SPONSORSHIP
INTRODUCTION
Introduction
Team Amore & Vita – McDonald’s
is proud of its many sponsors. We strive to develop close, friendly
relationships built on trust and work to deliver visible results
for both parties.
Our sponsors benefit
from Team's strong organisation and extensive experience in sports
marketing and sponsorships.
It is possible
to arrange both big and small sponsorships for a company. There are
many different opportunities for cooperating with Team Amore & Vita – McDonald’s,
and we are always keen to discuss new possibilities and concepts.
It is our ambition
to develop strong partnerships that generate business results for
both parties. We strive to work with companies that see perspectives
and opportunities in long-lasting relationships and that want to
be part of a visionary team.
SPONSORSHIP
CONCEPT
Concept
The fact that Team
Amore & Vita – McDonald’s participates in professional
cycling tours nearly all over the world is reflected in our collaboration
with sponsors, many of whom take advantage of the opportunity available
to access international markets, while others focus on their national
market with great success.
Team Amore & Vita – McDonald’s
attracts extensive international media coverage, giving our sponsors
wide exposure on TV, in newspapers and magazines, etc. on a variety
of markets. This exposure is used to strengthen sponsor brands and
increase awareness of the company. In addition, our sponsors actively
work to exploit the link to Amore & Vita's values as part of
the means for developing their brand.
Philosophy We do
many things differently on our team and we intend to keep it that
way. We have a set of values and apply special methods that are all
part of a particular philosophy. This is something we have worked
on for a few years now, and I think this past season was the first
one in which our techniques truly showed their worth. Ideas such
as teamwork, coaching and professionalism are new in cycling sports.
It takes time to turn something like this into actual practice, but
we have come a long way. We are now known as the team that takes
its staring position in the team rather than the individual. I am
convinced that this idea has contributed to the success we have achieved
for the cycling Team Amore & Vita – McDonald’s and
the company Fanini Sport Srl.
Not everyone believes
in what we do. That is fine with me: I am happy knowing that our
team is different, expecially because of the big struggle we proudly
lead against Doping. I am even happier knowing that we have delivered
results in both sports and business that speak for themselves. Our
team possesses something that many others would like to have because
we have started to build from the bottom and with the right tools.
This has helped to create our image as a team where things actually
work and where the riders have the best opportunities for development.
We are proud of this image, and acknowledge that there are responsibilities
and work involved in maintaining it. Our foundation is in place,
and it is the result of intense work contributed by everyone who
is on or around the team.
The entire team
looks forward to continuing in the same style in the new seasons.
Mine and my father’s
values are the foundation of our company. They form the basis for
how we work. We put our values into practice everyday: with our riders
on the road and in the rest of our organisation.
My organisation
is made up of people from many different countries and cultures.
Our values help create a common focus and perception of how we do
things. This is essential to our success.
THE
TEAM
Since 2006, McDonald’s
has sponsored Team Amore & Vita (even becoming part of the name
of the team). Led by me and my father Ivano and directed by former
pro rider Roberto Pelliconi, the cycling team shares with McDonald’s
a global reach and embodies the common themes of experience, results
and teamwork as we compete in more than 80 races per season around
the world.
Team Amore & Vita – McDonald’s
riders and staff reflect the global nature of McDonald’s business
and its employees, with representatives from Italy, Canada, France,
Poland, Russia, Ukraina, Albania, Uzbekisthan, Sweden, Lituhania,
Moldavia, Denmark and South Africa. Our cyclists are some of the
most talented and accomplished in the world, and in every race they
reinforce the message that they, like McDonald’s, are leaders
in their field and committed to excellence in everything they do.
